Usher and Zaytoven surprised the world with a 8-track album featuring Future and Gunna.
On Saturday, September 29th, Tip “T.I.” Harris hosted the VIP preview of the new Trap Music Museum in Atlanta. This pop-up museum is a collaboration of mix-media installations honoring the trap music culture and the artists, producers, DJ’s and more who helped create the genre. Over 300 guests came out to support and view the dynamic space while enjoying custom cocktails by Tito’s Vodka and bites by Chef Petey. DJ A1 spun the greatest trap music hits from 2003 – present time, while guests mixed, mingled and reminisced on the monumental moments that defined this movement. Select guests put their brains to the test by trying out the “Escape the Trap” escape room located within the space.
This star-studded event featured appearances by: T.I. and Tiny Harris and the Harris Family – Domani Harris, Messiah Harris, Zonnique, Deja Harris, Heiress Harris and Major Harris, as well as Usher, Monica, Rocko, Zaytoven, Killer Mike, Toya Wright, MikeWillMadeIt, Young Dro, Big Bank Black, Bangladesh, LeToya Luckett, Kap G, Gorilla Zoe, DJ Toomp, Fly, Ming Lee, Translee, Angel McCoughtry, Omar Dorsey, Reginae Carter, Hurricane Dave, DJ Scream, DJ Jelly, Shanelle, Brie, Ryan Wilson, TK Peterson, Joe Green, Shod Da God, Taylor Girlz, Summerella, Mali Hunter, Akbar V, Dennis White, Ernestine Johnson, Jazzy McBee, K Botchey, Branden Criss, KY Engineering, Mike Walbert, DJ Smallz, Sarah Vivan, Robin Hood Tre, and many more.

“We have an intentional plan to revitalize and redevelop the Proctor Creek Watershed with investment from the entertainment industry. The Trap Museum is the first example of placemaking BY creatives FOR creatives. TIP, Atlanta’s native son has yet again raised the bar by curating an artistic experience that reflects poverty and struggle turned into success and community building.”

“Trap is often associated with “the crack era” and its horrors, but this museum shows you truly that the ‘Trappers’ (similar to moonshiners vs prohibition) were simply home grown entrepreneurs that used an ‘illegal’ means to better the economic experience for those in underserved communities. Without Moonshiners you have no NASCAR and the millions of dollars of generational wealth it created and without ‘Trap Music’ hip-hop would not be the most dominant culture force sold out of the USA worldwide. It has been a long hard road with a wicked drug war that locked up our best business minds, but the spirit of ‘do for self’ lives and thrives today because of ‘Trap Music’. Bravo To all my Trappers.”

Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, brothers Ayleo and Mateo Bowles (a.k.a. AYO and TEO) have been dancing and competing at dance since elementary school. Influenced by greats such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Missy Elliot and Chris Brown, the duo quickly developed their own unique brand of dancing and began to upload Youtube videos from their basement and living room. With zero promotion, and strictly through the power of social media, they began to gain mass appeal by creating and having their “dance challenges” reposted to some of Instagram’s most popular dance pages. Recognizing this as their main outlet, the younger of the brothers (Teo) created what has become an instant phenomenon and their moniker – “THE REVERSE“. Simply reversing the steps to some of world’s best dance crazes, their Reverse of the “Nae Nae” went viral overnight, on every posted outlet, and received over 150 MILLION VIEWS!
Kicked off with a number of pics and vids reposted by Chris Brown, the two are now rubbing elbows and sharing stages with the very people that influenced them the most. Most recently being invited and flown out to perform by Usher himself, the boys shared the 2016 BET Awards stage with the R&B phenom.
On the map as rising stars, with no place to go but up, be on the lookout for AYO & TEO!
