Neon Dreams Releases “Turn Back Now” Video

2019 was life-changing for Neon Dreams. It was a year that saw the release of their debut album, Sweet Dreams till Sunbeams; tour dates with Ria Mae and Tyler Shaw; and radio hits with “High School Dropout” and “About You.” More importantly, 2019 was the year Neon Dreams found their voice and found their purpose. They approached music with a newfound perspective: music can heal, empower and motivate the listener.

They’re following up with the new single, “Turn Back Now,” inspired by frontman Frank Kadillac witnessing his mother go through chemotherapy and beat cancer. The deeply personal lyrics are paired with an upbeat, melodic alt-pop track and anthemic chorus.

Neon Dreams Drops “about you…” Visual

The track started as a poem. We rented a cabin just outside of Halifax for three days to get away from the city and let it blossom into a song. It’s magic how getting away from everyday distractions can help you focus on something you believe in.

This song is yours and open to interpretation. There’s a message in there and I hope you find it.

I’m finally starting to understand why I am the way I am and being able to express that through my work is exactly what fans have been waiting for.” – Neon Dreams
