V Don Releases New Album ‘Black Mass’ & New “Forefathers” Video With Dark Lo

Harlem based producer V Don is best known for his work with A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, 2 Chainz, The Game & Dave East.

Black Mass is entirely produced by V Don and features appearances from Dave East, Eto, Smoke DZA, Dash, 38 Spesh, El Camino, Willie The Kid, Rigz and Dark Lo.

After releasing three singles, including the project’s title track featuring Eto with Complex and “Since 16” featuring 38 Spesh & ElCamino with HipHopDx and “Get Back” with frequent collaborator Dave East, V Don officially releases his new album Black Mass.

“With this project I was inspired by the film Black Mass (which starred Johnny Depp) that was released a few years ago” V Don commented.  “I treated this album as if I was producing the soundtrack for the movie . I tapped in with some of my favorite artists I like to work with to get the job done. “

Dark Lo – “American Made” [Video]

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dark Lo is best known for bringing his signature gritty delivery and street bars over smooth, soulful production.  Also known as “The Crook”, Dark Lo spent the majority of his young adult life in and out of prison.  It wasn’t until Lo met AR-AB that he turned his attention to hip hop.  

Despite always having a passion for music, AR-AB convinced Lo of his talent and he decided to take his craft to the next level.  Over the years, Dark Lo has released several acclaimed albums including The CrookSK TalesDarkaveli, and Ron Harvey Jr..  Most recently, Lo was named one of Complex’s ‘Underground Rappers You Should Know’ and teamed up with Harlem based producer V Don to bring you their collaborative album Timeless.

Now Lo is further cementing his place with the release of his new album, American Made, which is now available for streaming and features appearances from Benny The Butcher, AR-AB and production from V Don among others. 

After premiering the album’s lead-single single, “Ripped Apart,” featuring Benny The Butcher with Complex, today Lo releases the visual for the album’s title track.
