Stalley’s Blue Collar Gang label drops “Everyday Struggle” with A&R Smitti Boi at the helm

Stalley’s Blue Collar Gang (BCG) label is in full effect with the team’s latest collaboration, “Everyday Struggle.” BCG Head of A&R and producer Smitti Boi teams up with Stalley and artist Gerald Walker , who was recently signed to the BCG label, for this record. “Everyday Struggle” follows Stalley’s epic 3 volume, Tell The Truth Shame The Devil project. This soulful record, produced by Smitti Boi, keeps his momentum going after co-producing “Robbin” from Tee Grizzley’s debut album, Activated which debuted at no. 10 on Billboard 200.

Stalley announces appointment of Smitti Boi as head of A&R for label, Blue Collar Gang

Hip hop artist Stalley (@stalley) today announced the appointment of long-time producer and engineer, Smitti Boi (@therealsmitti), as the head of A&R for his label Blue Collar Gang (BGC), effective immediately. Smitti’s new role includes overseeing the label’s music output from a lyrical and sonic perspective, while also finding and developing new and existing talent for BCG. He will play an active role in advising on projects and placements for the label’s roster of artists and producers.

The Atlanta-based producer and former MMG hip hop artist first met backstage at A3C music festival a few years ago, which later led to a studio session and eventual friendship. Stalley and Smitti are currently working on a collaborative project that will drop later this year. Smitti Boi’s producer credits include CeeLo Green, Boosie Badazz, B.o.B., Stalley, Curren$y, Starlito and more.

On his new appointment, Smitti Boi said, “My goal is to bring everything I can to Blue Collar Gang. I want to give the fans great music from not only Stalley, but the entire roster of BCG talent.” While he will continue producing music for other artists, his primary and day-to-day focus will be elevating the label and its artists.
